Relocation is a significant event for any
company, large or small. Whether you are moving from floor to
floor, down the street, or to another city, you need your company
to be up and running with little or no delays.
The first step is to meet with you and
assess your needs, then follow-up and provide you with our
proposal. Project management is critical for a successful
relocation. Once you have made your choice to engage
Massapequa Movers, our coordinator will meet with your project
administrator or staff to identify your priorities, then plan your
move appropriately.
We do not limit you to weekday
moves. After-hours, either evenings or weekends are
charged at a higher rate, but can ultimately be less expensive when
there is less time wasted, such as waiting for elevator or loading
dock accessability.
Desktop computers - not a
problem. Not only do we move them, but we also
assist customers with disconnection and reconnection. This
allows your IT staff to spend their time taking care of server
rooms and data centers.
Monitors. Delicate
flat screen monitors are wrapped and packed so that they are
immobile during transport.
Packing and
unpacking. We can help pack and unpack anything in
your office, and this should be planned for and discussed
during the estimating process. Outlining your
responsibilities and ours, materials and equipment needed, and
procedures involved will be included in our proposal to you.
We can help you plan.
Prior to the actual move, our coordinator can help you plan all
aspects of the project and work with your personnel to ensure a
smooth transition. Move Consultant - not
necessary to manage the actual move process, however, if you need
assistance with space planning, furniture purchases, telephone
installation, etc., then hiring one could be very worthwhile for
you. Our Move Consultant is experienced and thorough with
thought given to every detail.
Moving or installation of modular
furniture. We have the ability to disassemble,
transport and reassemble your existing modular furniture. If
you will be purchasing new furniture and it will be arriving before
your move date, we can store it for you and transport and assemble
it when you are ready.
Building management.
We will help you coordinate your relocation with your building
manager for access to elevators, loading docks, etc. and will
provide them with current certificates of insurance.
Office protection. We
will protect your new space by placing masonite on the floors,
corrugated cardboard along the walls, and corner protectors where
needed.
How it works. After
our initial meetings, we will provide you with labels for your
furniture and boxed items, unless you require our packing services
- then it is all taken care of for you. Our coordinator will
placard your new space with floor plans and room assignment names
or numbers for the movers. Our staff will work from the floor
plans to place your furniture, or work directly with you on
location.
